Philipp Gorbachev's Silver Album will receive the edit treatment on October 20th. Recorded live in the District Union Studio in Berlin with some help from label boss Matias Aguayo, the original LP offered nine tracks of avant-garde explorations from the Russian-born artist. It also featured collaborations with Battles drummer John Stanier and Butthole Surfer Paul Leary, plus Daniel Maloso and Tobias Freund. Cómeme will follow it up with a five-track collection of DJ edits this month. Curated by Philipp Gorbachev, it presents dance floor-ready reworks from an eclectic group of house and techno luminaries that includes Barnt, Miami mainstay Danny Daze, Argentinian label affiliate Ana Helder and the Cómeme head himself.
